Walkabout is a new section of Vagabondo's itineraries, to discover unusual destinations in Italy, realised with the contribution of some selected partners.
We open with a a pilot project in Rieti's surroundings, near Rome. Plesae read and it will be useful for us to improve Walkabout at the best!

Italy's geographic center, between Terminillo's mountain chain and Tiber's valley... A mild hill landscape covered with olive trees, but rocky and strong as well, with woods of dark ilexes and high beeches, an area with castles and medieval villages castled upon inaccessible heights, ancient sanctuaries and... genuine food seasoned with the most precious extra-virgin olive oil.
Rieti and its surroundings, not yet heavily scoured by tourism, characterized by interesting elements scattered all over an area where life rythmes are still calm and not feverish ...Vagabondo visited it for you.
