The Tenuta Due Laghi

In the middle of Rieti Saint Valley, inside the Lagolungo and Ripasottile lakes preserve, the Tenuta Due Laghi, with its 50 hectares property, disposes of a biological farm.
On the top of a splendidly panoramic hill at about 550 mt of height, overlooks the whole Rieti plain, with a threehundresixty degrees view of the preserve lakes, Mount Terminillo, of four Franciscan Sanctuaries and of the city of Rieti itself.

The Agritourism
Tenuta due Laghi Agritourism opened on 2004 april 19th inside the Tosoni Biological farm, after a long work of restoration of the existing buildings.
The Agritourism consists of a certain number of buildings around the Villa, an ancient building, restored in various times, hosting today the bedrooms of the agritourism complex. The seven double bedrooms are all named after names of birds in the preserve.
All the bedrooms are nicely furnished with ancient family furniture, have English oak floors in the bathrooms as well, independent heating and TV.
The Villa is surrounded by a porch where it's possible to relax and endowed with a big swimming pool with solarium.

The Biological Farm
The farm is 50 hectares wide, half upon the hill and haf in the plain, bordering Ripasottile lake.
The farm, personally kept by the owner, Marinella Tosoni Vincenti Mareri, is planted with grain, mais, fodder, vegetables and pulse vegetables as beans, lentils and chick peas.The hill is planted with 180 olive trees producing olives for oil and for the table.
All products have biological certification, according to C.E. 2092/91, by a control organisation named QC&I international services. The products are used in the restaurant but may as well bedirectly bought in the farm.
Agritourism guests may take walks through the farm following paths between fields, going as far as Ripasottile lake shore, where thera are huts for bird-watching.

Restaurant
Placed where the old stable was, still with the original roof with wooden beams, the restaurant provides for a warm and friendly atmosphere. The furniture is the one that originally furnished the dependence of the villa.
The diningroom can comfortably accommodate 70 persons.

The Fireplace Livingroom
An independent livingroom has been realisedbeside the restaurant where the stores and caves of the ancient farm were originally. Inside this room sometimes are held courses, seminars, meetings or private dinners, feasts. Usually it's simply for guests to enjoy relax.

Moreover the structure has a convention with Golf Club Centro d'Italia, with Rieti Flying Club, and nearby it's possible to practice sports as horse riding, canoing, trekking, hang gliding, trekking, rafting and birdwatching.

How to Get there
From south- A1 exit Fiano Romano
Take Salaria towards Rieti as far es East Rieti exit, go on towards the city center (Porta d'Arce). From here follow directions for Terni (SS 79 - via Piediluco). Continue on SS 79 for about 11 km, going beyond the fork for Rivodutri. after about 1 km turn left in LocalitÃƒÂ Campigliano.

From north - A1 exit Orte
Take towards Terni, then follow the SS 79 towards Rieti (via Piediluco). About twenty meters after passing the fork for Leonessa on your left, turn right in LocalitÃƒÂ Campigliano.
