The Casale della Nonna - Restaurant

A little more than a kilometre distance from Cantalupo in Sabina (leaving Cantalupo in direction of Casperia, the first crossing to the left), there is a farmhouse surrounded by nature and by a vast garden.
The restaurant has two rooms, a large main one and a smaller separated one.
There is a comfortable parking place and vast green spaces where children may play while the adults talk around the table.

Typical regional dishes are prepared with carefully chosen local products: the classical main courses such as polenta (maize porridge),
fettuccine, stringozzi, home made gnocchi; second courses such as coratella (pluck), paiatina, tripe, pork rind with beans, fried pizza, vegetables and grilled meat (lamb, pork and beaf); and desserts.
The evening pizzas cooked in the wood-burning oven; Friday, Saturday and Sunday fresh fish is guaranteed.
All while sipping from the vast assortment of wines.
